Lisa is a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the CCPA (Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association) (# 11292463) and a Registered Nurse with the CRNNL (College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador) (# 19402). She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador. She also completed additional education to become an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapist), CCTP-II (Certified Clinical Trauma Professional II- complex trauma), ADHD-CCSP ( Certified ADHD Clinical Services Provider), and counsellor certified in Binge Eating, Chronic Dieting, and Mindfulness.
Lisa practices from a trauma-informed and person-centred perspective, and her goal is to provide a safe haven for people to begin exploring the challenges they face while empowering them with proven skills that can get them moving forward.
